In October 2010, the 1992 Fund Administrative Council decided to levy £40 million in respect of the Volgoneft 139 Major Claims Fund, the entire levy to be differed, the Director being authorised to invoice all or part of the deferred levy for payment during the second half of 2011 if and to the extent required, but subject to a decision by the 1992 Fund Executive Committee authorising the Director to make payments in respect of this incident.
