In March 2009 the 1992 Fund Executive Committee noted that the Seoul Central District Court had rendered an order for the commencement of the limitation proceedings initiated by the owner and operator of the two tugs, the anchor boat and the crane barge involved in the Hebei Spirit incident, had set the limitation fund (inclusive of legal interests) at KWR 5 600 million (£2,8 million) and had stated that claims against the limitation fund should be registered by 19 June 2009.
