In March 2009 the 1992 Fund Executive Committee noted that the Season Branch of the Daejeon District Court had rendered an order for the commencement of the limitation proceedings initiated by the owner of the Hebei Spirit and that, according to that order, the persons who had claims against the limitation fund should register their claims by 8 May 2009, failing which the claimants would forfeit their rights against the limitation fund.
