Decision ID: 003196

In October 2007 the 1992 Fund Assembly agreed with the Director that, given the fact that the great majority of tanker tonnage was entered in Small Tanker Oil Pollution Indemnification Agreement 2006 (STOPIA 2006) and Tanker Oil Pollution Indemnification Agreeement 2006 (TOPIA 2006), it would be inadvisable at this stage to re-open the Agreements and the Memorandum of Understanding between the 1992 Fund/Supplementary Fund and the International Group of P&I Clubs, and welcomed that he intended to regularly monitor the situation, with a view to enhancing the coverage of STOPIA 2006 and TOPIA 2006.
