In October 1996 the 1971 Fund Assembly and the 1992 Fund Assembly authorised the Director to publish the revised Claims Manual, taking into account any comments by delegations, and after consultation with the Chairmen. If comments received were to give rise to particular difficulties, the Director was instructed to bring the matter to the attention of the 1971 Fund Executive Committee and the 1992 Fund Assembly at their 52nd and 2nd sessions respectively.
