In October 2009 the 1992 Fund Administrative Council agreed with the Director’s proposal to allow for additional voluntary staff contributions to the Staff Provident Fund up to 5% of pensionable renumeration, to be deducted on a monthly basis from the staff member’s salary. The Administrative Council decided to amend Staff Rule VIII.5 to reflect this decision.
