In October 2008 the Supplementary Fund Assembly decided to request the 1992 Fund Assembly to invite its Credentials Committee to examine also the credentials of delegations of Member States of the Supplementary Fund. It was noted that the 1992 Fund Assembly had agreed to this request. It was also noted that the possibility of the Supplementary Fund Assembly holding a session of its own, i.e. not in conjunction with a session of the 1992 Fund Assembly or Executive Committee, could not be ruled out and that, in that case, the Assembly would need to be able to establish its own Crdentials Committee. The Assembly adopted amendments to Rules 9 and 10 of its Rules of Procedure relating to the submission of credentials and the examination of credentials by a Credentials Committee.
