In view of the fact that an extraordinary session of the Assembly would be held in the spring of 1998 to consider certain issues resulting from the compulsory denunciation of the 1969 Civil Liability Convention and the 1971 Fund Convention by 1992 Fund Member States, the Assembly decided that the question of the membership of the Executive Committee should be reviewed on that occasion.
