Decision ID: 003105

In October 2005 the Supplementary Fund Assembly noted the proposal by the Director that contributions of £1.3 million should be levied to the General Fund to cover administrative expenses for 2006, reimbursement, with interest, of loans granted by the 1992 Fund, and the working capital. The Assembly decided that, since the 1992 Fund Assembly had decided not to levy any contributions for payment in early 2006, it would be preferable to postpone the first levy of contributions to the Supplementary Fund until the autumn of 2006, and further decided to request the 1992 Fund Assembly to authorise the Director to make the necessary funds available to the Supplementary Fund in the form of loans. It was noted that at its 10th (October 2005) session the 1992 Fund had granted the request, subject to the loans being repaid with interest, and to the extent that it could be done without prejudice to the operations of the 1992 Fund.
