In October 2004 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council decided that the 1971 Fund should pay a flat management fee of £325,000 to the 1992 Fund for the costs of running the joint Secretariat for 2005. It was noted that the 1992 Fund Assembly had agreed to the same distribution at its 9th (October 2004) session. The Council decided that the management fee payable by the 1971 Fund should be reviewed annually in view of the changes of the total figure for the costs of running the joint Secretariat and the amount of work required in the operation of the 1971 Fund.
