In October 2003 the 1992 Fund Assembly noted that, in accordance with two Resolutions adopted by the Legal Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in October 2000, the limits of liability and compensation laid down in the 1992 Civil Liability Convention and the 1992 Fund Convention would be increased by 50.37% with effect from 1 November 2003. The Director was invited to remind Member States of the increases and the need for ensuring that these increases were reflected in their national legislation.
