In May 1998 the 1971 Fund Assembly, noting that a contributor to the 1971 Fund in Germany had gone into liquidation, authorised the Director to agree with the liquidator and the new company that had acquired some of the assets of the company in liquidation on a settlement on terms that he considered reasonable.
