In October 1996 the 1992 Fund Assembly decided that, since there had been no significant developments on the basis of which the Director could propose an extension of his authority to make final settlement of claims against the 1992 Fund, his authority should be maintained at the levels agreed at the Assembly’s 1st session, as provided in Internal Regulation 7.4.
