In June 1996 the 1992 Fund Assembly took the view, which was agreed by the 1971 Fund Assembly, that the 1992 Fund and the 1971 Fund should issue together a Claims Manual, based on the 4th edition of the Claims Manual of the 1971 Fund adopted by its Executive Committee at its 43rd session and published in June 1995. The Assembly decided, in agreement with the 1971 Fund Assembly, that the text should be revised to reflect the amendments to the Civil Liability and Fund Conventions in the 1992 Protocols thereto, but that it would otherwise remain unchanged.
