In June 1996 the 1971 Fund Assembly, noting Article 36 quater (d) of the 1992 Fund Convention, which provided that the 1992 Fund Assembly should endeavour not to take decisions that were incompatible with decisions taken by the 1971 Fund Assembly, decided to adopt a Resolution (1971 Fund Resolution No.9) to the effect that the 1971 Fund should endeavour to ensure consistency, as far as possible, between the decisions of the 1971 Fund and those of the 1992 Fund on the admissibility of claims.
