In September 1990 the 1971 Fund Assembly invited the Director to submit a document, setting out the advantages of the system of compensation established by the Civil Liability and Fund Conventions in the context of response to oil pollution incidents, for consideration at the Conference on International Co-operation on Oil Pollution Preparedness and Response to be held in November 1990.
