In October 1987 the 1971 Fund Assembly decided that in the event of a substantial amount being recovered by the 1971 Fund as a result of the recourse action in the Tanio case, he would be entitled to make investments in excess of £2 million which, under Financial Regulation 7.1 (c), should normally be the maximum investment in any one bank or discount house.
