In October 1982 the 1971 Fund Assembly noted a proposal by the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany regarding the conversion of the (gold) franc as defined in Article V.9 of the 1969 Civil Liability Convention and Article 1.4 of the 1971 Fund Convention into national currencies, but decided to postpone a decision on this matter until the Assembly’s next session.
