In November 1978 the 1971 Fund Assembly, in a first reading, provisionally adopted Internal Regulations for the Fund in so far as the determination of these was necessary for its initial operations. The Assembly referred some of the Regulations to an intersessional Working Group (2nd & 3rd), which was invited to consider them further and submit its proposals to the second session of the Assembly for final adoption.
