In March 1980 the 1971 Fund Assembly, noting the Staff Regulations and Staff Rules elaborated by the Director on the basis of the Assembly’s decisions, requested the Director to investigate the question as to whether it was possible and advisable to adopt for the 1971 Fund a system allowing for appeals against the decisions of the Appeal Board, and to report on this question at its next session.
