In March 2001 the 1992 Fund Executive Committee decided that in view of the continuing uncertainty as to the level of claims arising out of the incident, the level of the 1992 Fund’s payments should be maintained for the time being at 60% of the amount of the damage actually suffered by the respective claimants and should be reviewed at the Committee’s 13th session.
