In April 2000 the 1992 Fund Executive Committee and the 1971 Fund Administartive Council, in the light of the total exposure of the Funds and the total amount of compensation available, both decided to increase the level of payments of the respective Funds to 70% of the amount of the damage actually suffered by each claimant. It was also agreed that the 1992 Fund Executive Committee and the 1971 Fund Assembly or Administrative Council would review the level of payments again at their October 2000 sessions.
