Decision ID: 001039
In October 1997 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee considered claims by eight angling clubs on behalf of their members for the part of their membership fees for the 1996 angling season corresponding to the period of the fishing ban imposed by the United Kingdom Government. The Committee decided that the individual members should be considered as the claimants and that the loss suffered by them was one of loss of enjoyment, which was not admissible for compensation.
