Decision ID: 000863
In February 1998 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that, in view of the continuing uncertainty as to the total amount of the claims arising from the incident, the level of the 1971 Fund’s payments should be maintained at 60% of the amount of the losses actually suffered by the respective claimants. The Committee instructed the Director to obtain as much additional information as possible on the estimated total amount of the claims so that the percentage could be reviewed at the Committee’s next session.
