Decision ID: 000499

In October 1995 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee noted that the Fund’s Korean surveyor had been summoned to testify in respect of the Keumdong No5 incident incident before the Agriculture and Fisheries Committee of the Korean National Assembly and that he had been ordered to present to that Committee certain correspondence exchanged with the Fund and other documents relating to the incident. The Committee, whilst expressing concern as regards the consequences for the operation of the Fund of such orders, agreed with the Director’s advice to the surveyor, that he should comply with the requirement of Korean law in respect of the order.
