Decision ID: 000436

In October 1994 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee considered two claims by public bodies, for unemployment benefits paid to persons that had been made redundant due to the incident. The Committee recalled that it had previously rejected claims for loss of income suffered by persons who had been made redundant and took the view that public bodies paying unemployment benefit could not be given a more favourable position than persons who had been made redundant. The Commitee therefore rejected the claims.
