In March 1993 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee agreed with the Director that it would not be appropriate for the Fund to provide financial assistance to a group of solicitors (the Braer Legal Group) formed to protect the interest of the victims of the incident or to the solicitors who were members of the Group.
