In February 1994 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee endorsed the Director’s decision that, in view of the high amounts claimed in respect of this incident, the Fund’s payments should be limited to 50% of the established damage suffered by each claimant. The Committee instructed him to consider whether this percentage should be adjusted in the light of developments.
