In Ocotber 1993 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee agreed with the Director that if the Assembly were to set up an intersessional Working Group to examine the criteria to be applied by the Fund for the admissibility of claims, it would be useful if it were to consider in depth problems relating to the contamination of farmed fish and shellfish, in order to spell out the sampling and technical requirements to assess claims for compensation for destroyed fish.
