At its March 1993 session the 1971 Fund Executive Committee questioned whether a claim for loss of income by an employee of a fish processing plant, that received most of its supply from salmon farms located within the exclusion zone established by the United Kingdom Government, whose working week had been reduced could be considered as damage by contamination, and in view of the far reaching consequences, decided to postpone its decision on the admissibility of the claim until its next session.
