In March 2011, the 1971 Fund Administrative Council endorsed the decision of the 1992 Fund Administrative Council to extend the appointment of Mr José Maura as Acting Director until the Director returned to perform his duties or the next regular session of the 1992 Fund Assembly to be held from 24-28 October 2011, whichever occurred first.  The interim arrangements for an Acting Director of the IOPC Funds were considered in a private meeting held pursuant to Rule 12 of the Rules of Procedure attended only by representatives of Members States of the 1992 Fund and former Member States of the 1971 Fund.
