In October 2005 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council noted the recommendations by the Audit Body relating to the time taken to handle claims, on the costs of claims, on interim payments and on the management of claims handling and instructed the Director to submit a report to its next autumn session setting out an action plan that the Secretariat had put in place in the light of the Audit Body’s recommendations.
