In October 2005 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council noted that the External Auditor had provided an unqualified audit opinion on the 2004 Financial Statements following a rigorous examination of the financial operations and accounts in conformity with audit standards and best practice, and that the Audit Body had recommended that the Council approve the accounts. The Administrative Council approved the accounts of the 1971 Fund for the financial period 1 January – 31 December 2004.
