In March 2005 the 1992 Fund Assembly agreed that the 1992 Fund and the Supplementary Fund should have a joint Secretariat and authorised the Secretariat of the 1992 Fund to administer, in addition to the 1971 Fund, also the Supplementary Fund. It also agreed that the Director of the 1992 Fund, Mr Måns Jacobsson, should ex-officio be also the Director of the Supplementary Fund. The Assembly agreed that the solution provided in the Supplementary Fund Protocol for resolving conflicts of interest between the 1992 Fund and the Supplementary Fund was adequate and decided that if there were to be a real conflict of interest between the two Organisations each of them could be represented by the respective Assembly Chairman, and that if a major conflict of interest were to arise, the matter should be referred to the respective governing bodies for decision.
