In March 2005 the Supplementary Fund Assembly decided to request the 1992 Fund Assembly and the 1971 Fund Administrative Council to agree to the Director of the 1992 Fund performing also the function of Director of the Supplementary Fund. It was noted that the 1992 Fund Assembly and the 1971 Fund Administrative Council had agreed to the request at their 9th extraordinary session and 16th session respectively. The Assembly therefore appointed Mr Måns Jacobsson, the then Director of the 1992 Fund, as Director of the Supplementary Fund and decided that his appointment should take effect immediately and expire on the same date as his appointment as Director of the 1992 Fund.
