In October 1998 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee, in line with the decision of the 1992 Fund Assembly, authorised the Director to use £400,000 in 1999 for expenses in connection with the relocation of the IOPC Funds’ office and the increased cost of running the Secretariat as a result thereof, and decided that an appropriation to that effect should be included in a new Chapter VII of the 1999 budget, the amount to be split 50:50 between the two Organisations.
