Decision ID: 002673

In October 1998 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that the maximum investment which the 1971 Fund could normally hold in any given institution should be increased from £10 million to £15 million and that, since investments had not been made with discount houses in recent years and the role of these institutions was declining, the reference to them in the Financial Regulations should be deleted. The Committee decided to amend the Financial Regulations accordingly. The Committee decided that it was premature to consider the question of whether the 1971 Fund should make investments in Euros.
