Decision ID: 001357

In May 2002 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council noted that in December 2001 the Sunchon District Court had a rendered judgement in respect of claims of five claimants who did not hold licenses to cultivate penshells and arkshells. The Council noted that the Court had dismissed the Fund’s argument that the claims should be rejected, because, in the Court’s view, licensing requirements were an administrative matter unrelated to compensation issues. The Administrative Council endorsed the Director’s decision to appeal against the judgement.
