Decision ID: 000366

In June 1993 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that a claim by a sales and marketing confederation for loss of commissions resulting from the lack of sales of salmon that had to be destroyed was inadmissible, since the compensation agreed with the salmon farms for the slaughter of the fish had been determined on the basis of the market price of salmon, which had included fees, charges or commissions that the farms would have had to pay in the normal course of their business. The Committee reconsidered the the claim in May 1994 in the light of further information, but decied to maintain its decision.
