Decision ID: 000338

In February 1994 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided to reject a claim by a fish feed manufacturer for reduced sales of feed to salmon farms affected by the pollution on the grounds that the alleged loss was a result of the buyers not fulfilling contractual obligations, that the loss could not be considered as damage caused by contamination and that the activities of the claimant were not an integral part of the economy of the area affected by the oil spill.
