In July 2003 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council decided that the 1971 Fund should maintain the policy that when considering the level of payments, all pending claims should be taken into account for the amount claimed, whether they in the Fund’s view were admissible or not, and that pending claims should be disregarded only in exceptional circumstances.
