In October 2003 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council decided that in future it was not necessary to restrict access to the documents relating to the draft Budget and the levy of contributions as these documents did not in general contain information that should not be available to the public. The Council re-confirmed its decision taken at its 9th (October 2002) session that the Director was authorised to decide, after consultation with the respective Chairman, whether a particular document should be restricted.
