In October 1995 the 1971 Fund Assembly, at its 18th session, took the view that those claimants with whom the Fund had agreed a full and final settlement on the admissible quantum of their claims, but had not been paid, did not need to take legal action against the Fund to prevent their claims from becoming time-barred.
