In October 2003 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee endorsed the proposal by the Director to maintain the level of the 1971 Fund’s payments to 65%, and reconfirmed its authorisation given to the Director at its 4th session, to increase the level of payments to 70% when the Fund’s total exposure fell below £67 million.
