In June 1997 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that the instructions previously given to the Director should be maintained, ie that the Director should investigate the possibility of reaching out-of-court settlements with claimants covered by the judgement of the Criminal Court on the basis of evidence laid down by the Court in the judgement.
