In October 1991 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee instructed the Director to continue to follow the investigations into the cause of the incident so as to enable him to submit a proposal as to whether the Fund should bring recourse action against the owner of the Moby Prince (the colliding vessel) or take any other legal action.
