In October 1980 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that all staff members, whether employed on a full-time or part-time basis, should be included in the Provident Fund and approved an amendment to Rule VIII.5 (h) of the Fund’s Staff Rules. The Committee also approved other amendments to the Staff Rules in order to keep the Fund’s Staff Regulations and Rules in accordance with IMCO’s (IMO’s) Regulations and Rules, especially as far as the salary system was concerned.
