In October 2002 the 1971 Fund Administrative Council noted the External Auditor’s report and opinion and that the External Auditor had provided an unqualified audit opinion on the 2001 Financial Statements following a rigorous examination of the financial operations and accounts in conformity with audit standards and best practice. The Council approved the accounts of the 1971 Fund for the financial period 1 January – 31 December 2001.
