In October 1999 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee noted the External Auditor’s report and opinion. The Committe welcomed the ‘value for money’ audit by the External Auditor and agreed that this type of audit should be continued. The Exexutive Committee approved the accounts of the 1971 Fund for the financial period 1 January to 31 December 1998.
