In October 1999 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee, noting that two towns (La Coruña and Culleredo) had requested the Court in charge of the execution of the judgements to order that the amounts awarded to them be paid in full, confirmed its previous decision that payments to claimants who had been awarded specific amounts in the judgements would be limited to 40% of respective amounts awarded and expressed approval that the Fund had stated this in its submission to the Court.
